A company with the prestige and international positioning of NOEL, a leader in biscuit production recognized for its high quality standards, requires permanent continuous improvement processes. In this context, automation becomes a strategic pillar, and industrial robotics emerges as a key ally—not only to increase productivity but also to ensure the care and well-being of employees by reducing exposure to repetitive tasks that can lead to ergonomic issues.
With this objective, we were invited to participate in the research, sizing, planning, and execution stages of a project to install an industrial robot in the packaging line for two types of biscuits. The developed solution was adapted to the geometry and speed of each product, integrating synchronously with the packaging speed of the flowpack machine.
The project scope included the import, installation, and commissioning of a high-speed SCARA robot, along with its specialized tooling designed to stack the biscuits into a matrix prior to final packaging. The entire process was implemented without affecting production cadence, as the robot has the capability to reach the bottom biscuits without needing to stop the packaging line.
In this way, SMART Automation Technology S.A.S. writes a new chapter in industrial transformation, demonstrating its capacity to solve complex challenges and provide innovative solutions to the production processes of the industrial sector.
