Innovation that transforms industries: The challenge alongside GOWAN

Throughout the history of SMART Automation Technology SAS, we have faced multiple challenges related to industrial automation, process modernization, optimization of automatic systems, information integration, and research-based developments. However, when a multinational corporation trusts us to completely automate an entire production plant, the challenge takes on a different dimension.
This was precisely the challenge we took on with GOWAN, an American multinational focused on crop bioprotection, which decided to establish its operations in Colombia by implementing a fully automated production plant. For this project, Delta Electronics was chosen as the technological cornerstone—a brand for which we have been certified distributors and integrators since the founding of SMART Automation Technology SAS.
The implemented solution covered the full range of Delta Electronics technologies, including PLCs, HMIs, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), servomotors, temperature controls, and a SCADA system, ensuring comprehensive control and seamless communication between all plant processes.
The project scope included the assembly of power and control panels, programming and configuration of each process, development of the SCADA system, full plant commissioning and synchronization, as well as the technical training of the operating staff.
This project demonstrates not only the robustness and technological capacity of Delta Electronics to meet high-demand challenges but also the operational strength and engineering expertise of SMART Automation Technology SAS in executing large-scale industrial projects.
